41-year-old man dies in hospital after being shot at start of February

RCMP said a 41-year-old man died in hospital on Feb. 11 following a shooting on the Long Plain First Nation on Feb. 2.

Family previously identified the shooting victim as Barry Myran.

Two 15-year-old suspects were taken into custody following the Feb. 2 shooting.

They were originally charged with attempted murder.

RCMP said officers continue to investigate.

Police have not yet released word on whether charges will be upgraded.

The suspects remain in custody.
