Budget increases are on the agenda at Winnipeg City Hall.
The Mayor's Executive Policy Committee voted in favour of a price hike for The Tache Promenade project from $5.2 to $10 million dollars.
The scope of the plan has changed which now includes river bank work, road construction and lighting.
EPC also approved a $10.6 million dollar over expenditure for the transit department.
Transit is dealing with fewer fares and flat provincial funding.
Additional fare increases and service cuts are being considered.
