City staff plan to reevaluate plowing residential streets Monday morning.

Snow sits packed down on residential streets left over from this week's big snowfall. According to Environment Canada up to 17 cm of snow fell on parts of the city this week.

The city says it decided not to plow residential streets this weekend. Instead, main streets, back-lanes and sidewalks became the priority.

This week's snowfall brought out 300 pieces of snow-clearing equipment across the city. The city says if residents need help digging out on a residential street, they can call the city by dialing 311.
