Thirteen new developments will be built in Corydon and Osborne in the next year and a half.
A total of 125 units will be built under the new developments, with most of those in the Corydon area and the rest in Osborne.
Developer Yaron Walter calls Corydon home. He says the new builds give people another option on where to live in the neighbourhood, and could attract those now living in suburbs.
Craig Kitching, the president of Corydon Avenue Business Improvement Zone, says Corydon is adapting to the changing needs of Winnipeggers. He says this will help keep it as a vibrant neighbourhood.
