Call it a Christmas wish. A Winnipeg woman is hoping her father's missing Second World War medals will be returned.
Marissa Fitzner said her brother accidentally left them in the lane behind her Lipton Avenue home last week in a bag of presents while packing up his van.
By the time the family realized the bag with the medals was left behind, it was gone.
Fitzner has put out pleas on social media and signs around her home for someone to return the medals.
She said if someone finds them, she's asking people to call police or even take them to a local legion.
