Lac du Bonnet RCMP have charged two people with assault and forcible confinement following an incident involving a boy.
On Nov. 10, 2015, police were notified of a youth being assaulted and abducted in the town of Lac du Bonnet.
The victim was able to escape with minor injuries and got help from people nearby.
RCMP arrested a man and a female youth on charges of assault and forcible confinement.
Police believe it was a targeted attack and say there is no risk of danger to other members of the public.
The accused have been released on promises to appear in court.
