Winnipeg's Devi Gershbain is the ultimate Garth Brooks ‘superfan’.

Almost everything you see on display at her home is in one way or another, connected to the country superstar.

"There is an emotional connection just thinking about him," said Geshbain, who remembers discovering her love for the artist back in 1991.

In the 25 years since then, Gershbain has traveled all across North America to see Garth Brooks at 17 concerts, but she has never met her idol in person.

"He definitely knows who I am, he's pointed to me in the crowd before and acknowledge me in other ways," she said.

Countless times Brooks has left behind signed items addressed to Gershbain, but fate has never brought the two together.

Out of all the priceless memorabilia she's collected over the years, Gershbain says one thing stands out the most.

She calls it her, "pride and joy."

It's a guitar used by Brooks at his last show in Winnipeg 20 years ago in 1996. But even this she said she'd give up for a chance to finally meet him.

Gershbain is going to two of the four Garth Brooks shows in Winnipeg this coming weekend.

If her dream of meeting Brooks comes true, she said she'll try to keep it together.

"Hopefully I wouldn't be emotional, I'd say give me a hug and let's get a picture together because that would last forever."
