A man is facing impaired driving charges after police said he drove his truck through a building in Portage la Prairie.
Police said it happened around 5 a.m. Thursday at the Southport Airport and Commercial Properties building on Centennaire Drive.
Police said the driver of a GMC Sierra was traveling southbound on Centennaire when he lost control of the truck. It smashed through the front of the building, through the front desk area and stopped in an office.
Officials said a 26-year-old man from Portage la Prairie was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and failure to remain at the scene.
An investigation is ongoing.
