The Manitoba government is offering free entry to the province's parks in February. Manitoba residents are invited to enjoy provincial parks for free. Provincial parks offer hundreds of trails of groomed skiing, snowmobiling and hiking trails.
Trail conditions are updated on the Manitoba Parks website every Thursday. Interpretive programs are also offered every week throughout the month.
The government said it made the move to encourage more people to visit and explore the parks in the beautiful crisp winter air.
