MOOSE LAKE, Man. – A woman has been charged with killing one person and attacking three others in a disturbance on a Manitoba First Nation.

Moose Lake RCMP say they responded to a disturbance on Oct. 5 and found an unresponsive 35-year-old man.

He was taken to the nursing station where he was pronounced dead.

Police say two women, one 29 and one 26, and a 17-year-old girl were also assaulted.

Edna McNabb, who is 37, of Moose Lake First Nation, is charged with manslaughter, aggravated assault and two counts of assault with a weapon.

She is in custody and the investigation continues.
