Two Manitobans were shot and killed by gunmen in Honduras on Sunday afternoon.
Henry Beltz and his stepson Rob Beltz were at the bar owned by Henry when two men with weapons walked in and shot them.
Henry’s brother Gary Beltz, speaking from his home in Virden, Manitoba, said he doesn’t think the two were specifically targeted and thinks it may have been a case of mistaken identity.
Gary said Henry had lived in the central American country for nearly 20 years and was well-regarded in the community.
