A 24-year-old pedestrian died after a car hit him in Norway House on June 1.
A vehicle going southbound on Paupanekis Point Road struck the man, said RCMP. Officers were called around 11:30 p.m. on Monday.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the vehicle, a 41-year-old woman from Norway House, was not injured.
“At this time, alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor in the collision,” said RCMP.
Officers continue to investigate.
