Officials are investigating two suspicious fires that broke out Sunday.

Sources told CTV News they're connected to an ongoing biker gang war.

Crews were called to DC Automotive at 12:20 a.m. Sunday.

Windows were broken, and the fire was found inside the office-area. Police said no one was injured.

Court documents show this is the same building where a Rock Machine gang member was lured and severely beaten last year.

The cause of the blaze is still unknown, said police. The arson unit is investigating.

Later on Sunday, crews were called to a second suspicious fire.

Around 5 p.m., crews were called to a residence on Royal Avenue.

People in the area told CTV News they heard a loud bang, before fire trucks showed up.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

Police said they believe the two incidents are connected to a current conflict between rival groups.

The Winnipeg police's organized crime unit and the arson unit are investigating.
