Homeowners who have considered making their homes more efficient, but held off due to upgrading costs, are in luck.
The Premier and Manitoba Hydro have presented the "Pay as You Save" initiative and it is the first its kind in Canada. Unlike previous initiatives, this one has no upfront costs.
Manitobahydro will pay for the improvements and recover the costs over time from savings on client bills.
