WINNIPEG - Quarterback Drew Willy has recovered enough from an injured shoulder to start for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers when they host the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Saturday.

After the Bombers completed their walk-through Friday, Willy told reporters the throwing shoulder he injured Sept. 13 in a loss to the B.C. Lions won't stop him from making his 13th straight start this season.

"I feel fine. I'm ready to play and I'm looking forward to going out there," said Willy, who was able to get extra treatment and rest during Winnipeg's bye week.

Bombers head coach Mike O'Shea said he has no qualms with having Willy under centre against the Ticats (4-7).

"He progressed nicely through the week, feels good so we'll roll with Drew," O'Shea said.

The offence won't have to alter its plans because of Willy's injury.
