Environment Canada confirmed a tornado touched down near Roblin on Highway 83 on Saturday.
Severe weather rolled into parts of the province Saturday night. Severe thunderstorm watches and warnings were in effect for much of southwest Manitoba.
Earlier in the evening there were tornado watches and warnings. A tornado touched down around 7:30 p.m.10 km south of Roblin on Highway 83.
The impact reportedly uprooted trees. There are no other reports of damage or injuries.
