A Red River College student may lose part of her eyesight after being brutally beaten while on work placement.

Jackie Healey told CTV News doctors say she may never be able to see again from her left eye.

She was attacked, along with a coworker, inside the Behavioural Health Foundation near Selkirk Sunday night.

Healey now has head injuries, cracked teeth and a badly bruised left eye.

A 17-year-old and 16-year-old face many charges, including aggravated assault, robbery, and theft of a vehicle.

Both were living at the treatment centre.
