Winnipeggers will have another chance to dine at one of the longest tables in the world.
On May 23, 150 tables of eight will be set at a location for 1,201 people – one more place setting than last year, when it was held on Esplanade Riel. The location has yet to be announced. More details on the event can be found online.
Right now, organizers are looking for table captains to set and design tables.
Last year, the location of the event was kept secret until the day of the meal. All tickets for the inagural Table for 1,200 sold out in less than 36 hours.
