One person was taken to hospital after an underground hydro line exploded in Winnipeg Monday.
Fire and emergency crews were called to Hargrave Street and Portage Avenue shortly after 11:30 a.m.
It appears the explosion took place in a construction zone.
The city said crews are working to complete a water tie-in for a new building in the area, among other related construction work. It’s not yet known what caused the explosion, however.
