Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries said most Liquor Mart locations will be open Louis Riel Day.

Winnipeg Transit

Winnipeg Transit will operate a Sunday schedule on Louis Riel Day. Route and schedule information can be found on the Winnipeg Transit’s website or by contacting 311.

Recycling/garbage collection

Recycling will be collected as normally scheduled on the Louis Riel holiday for those with a Monday collection day.

All Leisure Centres will be closed on Feb. 20.

Swimming pools

All indoor City of Winnipeg pools will be closed Feb. 20, with the exception of Pan Am Pool and the Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex.

Pan Am will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cindy Klassen will be open from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Libraries

All Winnipeg Public Libraries will be closed Feb. 20. Online services, including downloadable eBooks and holds/renewals, are available any time on the Winnipeg Public Libraries website.

Animal Services Agency

The Animal Services Agency will be closed Feb. 20.

Cemeteries

Cemetery grounds at Brookside, St. Vital and Transcona cemeteries will be open on Feb. 20 for visitation from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. However, cemetery offices will be closed.
