Headaches continue for Charleswood residents who are going on six days without running water.

It started with a water main break last weekend, which flooded basements, yards, and left a wide-spread icy mess.

Crews have been working ever since, but residents say once one pipe is fixed, there's another break to deal with. For some, the water is back briefly, before crews have to shut it off again.

"It's terrible,” said Harvey Osiowy. “My wife is taking chemo right now. I'm shlepping water. It's been awful."

The city said crews are currently working on the ninth leak in this section of the water main. A spokesperson told CTV they should know later today when water service can be restored.

As for the wate rmain break in the Maples. the city says everyone there once again has water.
