Strong winds overnight knocked down several trees across Winnipeg. Now, Environment Canada has issued a warning that winds could reach up to 80 km/h on Sunday.

As of 3:30 p.m. Sunday, the city had received 300 reports of fallen trees and broken hanging branches. Even large trees have fallen over.

Two bucket trucks are out working on the clean-up.

On Friday and Saturday, most of the damage was concentrated in the north of the city. On Sunday, most of the damage is in the south.

On Saturday, a man was sent to hospital after a tree fell on his car while driving in Transcona.
