Crews started work to dismantle Restaurant Dubrovnik on Assiniboine Avenue in Winnipeg on Tuesday.
It’s being torn down to make way for a new 24-storey highrise condo project. Sandhu Developments will soon begin bedrock tests on the site.
Crews are expected to have the demolition of the restaurant completed by the end of the week.
Officials hope to have the condo project completed by 2015.
