Fire crews battled a blaze at a malting barley plant near the Transcona Rail Yards this morning.
The fire broke out around 8:30 a.m. at Malteurop on Dugald Road near Borden Avenue.
Fire crews extended a ladder and appeared to concentrate their efforts on a concrete silo.
It is the same plant where fire crews were called to last week to put out a similar blaze.
People living nearby says this is the third fire there in the past month.
