A popular Swedish clothing brand is among a few stores that have their sights set on east Winnipeg.
The former Target store at the east end of Kildonan Place has been without a permanent tenant since the American retail giant pulled its stores out of Canada.
The Kildonan Place Target has been closed since last April.
City Councillor Jeff Browaty tweeted plans from the East Kildonan-Transcona Community Committee meeting Monday night that show H&M, Marshalls and HomeSense in that space.
A spokesperson for Kildonan Place says they can’t officially confirm new tenants at this time.
