The NDP announced Saturday it had a candidate in all of Manitoba’s 57 constituencies.
Nahanni Fontaine topped off the list as the final candidate in the St. Johns area.
Fontaine has served as a special advisor on Aboriginal women’s issues for the province.
The former Southern Chiefs Organization director of justice is nationally recognized as an advocate for Indigenous women and girls who have been targets of violence.
The provincial election happens on April 19, 2016.
