Surgeries have resumed at St. Boniface Hospital. The hospital began re-opening its operating rooms after a burst pipe flooded the closure of 14 ORs back on Jan. 21.

Staff began performing emergency surgeries there Thursday morning.

More than 260 elective or planned surgeries were cancelled because of the closure.

The hospital plans to update the public on the openings Thursday afternoon. Watch for more tonight on CTV News at 6:00 p.m.
