A Thompson man wanted by RCMP on multiple charges has been found and arrested, said officials.

Blake Benedict Clemons, 29, was taken into custody in Thompson by the North District Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team (NCREST) at about 8:30 a.m. Thursday, said police.

Police said he was wanted on a number of criminal charges, including a recent robbery in Thompson, and multiple counts of failing to comply with conditions. He was also out on bail for assault, said RCMP.

Police said Clemons was considered violent and should not be approached.
