Manitoba police are asking for the public’s help in solving the 2007 murder of a Portage la Prairie grandmother.
Police said Charlene Ward went out with friends on Oct. 31, 2007 to the Cat & Fiddle Nite Club in Portage, before returning to her home on 5th Avenue NE to party.
Police said the party ended at around 8 a.m. on Nov. 1. Ward was found dead in the at 8:45 a.m., and her death was ruled a homicide.
Officials said no arrests have been made in the historical homicide. Police believe someone has information related to the murder, and are asking anyone with information that could help in finding Ward’s killer to come forward.
