A 68-year-old woman who was hit by a vehicle over the weekend in East Kildonan has died.
According to the Winnipeg Police Service, the 68-year-old woman was crossing Henderson Highway near Kimberly Avenue Sunday when a pick-up truck making a left turn hit her.
She was rushed to hospital with critical injuries. Police confirmed Wednesday that she has since died.
Police said no charges have been laid, and the Central Traffic Unit is investigating.
Part of the investigation includes determining who had the right of way at the time of the collision.
