Police are looking for a suspect after a sexual assault at a downtown mall.
Investigators say it happened on June 8, 2009 at Portage Place and involved a 16-year-old girl and a young man.
The girl had run into a group of males she did not know in the mall, and had agreed to go for a walk with one of the young men.
He led her to a stairwell and sexually assaulted her there.
She was able to get away and notify security of what happened and police were called in.
The male suspect is described as:
- Late teens
- 5'8" with average build
- Piercings in his right ear, right eyebrow, and tongue
- Wearing a grey hoodie with burgundy and yellow design on collar and dark baggy pants
The investigation is being conducted by members of the Sex Crimes Unit.
