RCMP have charged a teenage suspect in connection with the death of a man in Melita.
A 15-year-old male youth from Melita faces a charge of manslaughter for the death of Francis Melvin Renwick, 64.
RCMP said the victim knew the suspect.
Renwick was found on May 14 inside a suite at the retirement home where he lived. RCMP said the cause of death was trauma to the head.
On Wednesday morning, officers said a youth had been arrested for the death. RCMP said the suspect was officially charged Wednesday night.
No further charges are anticipated in the case, said officers.
