A Winnipeg mayoral candidate says he has a plan to cut business taxes and grow the amount of businesses in the city.
At his funeral home, Michael Vogiatzakis announced that if elected, he would cap business taxes collected by the City at $58 million a year.
At the same time, he would use $3 million from the business taxes each year to offer grants and loans to foster new businesses.
Vogiatzakis says because of the cap, the more businesses created, the less in taxes each would pay every year.
