Winnipeg saw its highest number of voters in advance polls this year.
The final total for 2014 in advance polls was 30,619 voters, an increase of 1,400 over 2010, and the largest number of persons ever to participate in an advance poll, said the city.
Friday, Oct. 17 was the final day to take part in advanced voting. Winnipeggers had until 4:00 p.m. to head to city call to cast their ballot.
The Winnipeg Civic Election is Wednesday, Oct. 22.
