The City of Winnipeg will study a way to ban posters from public places.
A committee voted to come up with a strategy on where the posters are permitted and how to better carry out enforcement.
Winnipeg's Biz zone groups said the postering is ugly and gives neighbourhoods a perception of neglect.
They say they're spending time and money pulling down posters and repairing and repainting poles and other public property.
