Death of female found in motel treated as suspicious: RCMP

Police have opened an investigation into the death of a female found Sunday in a motel at Deacon’s Corner.

RCMP said they’re treating the death in the RM of Springfield as suspicious.

Officers responded around 7 a.m. on Dec. 14. The female was found dead in a motel room. Her name has not been released by police.

Officers from multiple units are aiding in the investigation.
