One man is in critical condition, and three firefighters suffered minor injuries after an early Sunday morning fire.
Flames broke out at a 2.5 story apartment on Furby Street around 1:45 a.m.
Firefighters tell CTV flames on the second floor and attic were so strong; it forced firefighters out of the building until they could attack the fire from the outside.
No word on a damage estimate.
Crews say a man living in the building was taken to hospital in critical condition.
Most other occupants made it out of the building on their own.
Three firefighters who suffered minor injuries were not taken to hospital.
