Several tornadoes have ravaged parts of the American heartland, killing dozens and destroying homes and buildings in Oklahoma City and Kansas. The death toll is expected to rise as rescue workers make their way through the debris.
Fire crews were first on scene on May 15, 2013 for the massive blaze south of the Perimeter. Firefighters were expected to remain on scene for several days to tackle hot spots.
