Gray and Yakemow row to bronze in women’s double sculls

Team Manitoba won their third rowing medal in the Canada Summer Games Friday morning in Kenora, Ont.

Teammates Emma Gray and Gabby Yakemow competed in the women’s double sculls, finishing third with a time of 7:38.72.

Quebec won the gold with a time of 7:30.92 followed by British Columbia taking the silver with a time of 7:36.19.

Gray, 19, was also chosen as Team Manitoba’s opening ceremonies flag bearer.
