Lac du Bonnet RCMP say a man died Friday night when a boat he was on crashed into a rocky shore in Lac du Bonnet at a high rate of speed.
RCMP say the boat came from the Winnipeg River before going aground near Lake Avenue.
The 20-year-old deceased man from East St Paul was the only person on the boat when it crashed.
RCMP say alcohol is being investigated as a contributing factor in the collision and the investigation is ongoing.
