A 40-year-old man is dead after his car rolled off of a roadway in the RM of Portage la Prairie Friday night.
RCMP rushed to Provincial Road 71 around 7:30 p.m. to find a pickup truck rolled over and a man ejected from the vehicle.
Emergency services pronounced the man dead at the scene.
RCMP believe seatbelt use was a factor in the fatal crash and said no other people or cars were involved in the collision.
The man’s name will not be released, but RCMP said he was from the RM of Portage la Prairie.
Officers continue to investigate.
