Mayor Sam Katz’s house in Scottsdale, Ariz. is no longer listed as his primary residence.
A county official in Arizona said Katz submitted the proper form indicating the change for his 4,400-square-foot-home.
Earlier this week, it came to light the $934,000 home was listed as his primary address, even though Katz lives in Winnipeg.
The status entitled him to a $600 tax credit in the U.S., a benefit he may still have to pay back.
Katz claims he did not know the status of the lavish home was listed as primary.
