Winnipeg police are asking for the public's help in investigating a car crash that killed an 80-year-old man Friday evening.
Around 8:30 p.m. paramedics and police rushed to Sackville Street and Bruce Avenue to find two vehicles had crashed into each other.
A 79-year-old woman and 80-year-old man were in one of the cars and were rushed to hospital from the scene, police said. The man has since died from his injuries.
No one else was injured in the crash, police said.
Officers are now investigating the cause of the crash and are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact the traffic unit at 986-6271.
