Police are investigating after a man was shot in the area of McGregor Street and Mountain Avenue on Sunday.
Around 1:30 a.m., a 21-year-old man was walking in the area when two males approached him. One of the males carried a firearm and shot the victim in the lower body.
Paramedics took the man to hospital in unstable condition. He has since been upgraded to stable.
Police said the victim was in the area looking to buy drugs. He didn’t know the people who attacked him, police said.
