Manitoba is getting a $25 million boost to public education funding.
Advanced Learning Minister Peter Bjornson made the funding announcement on Thursday.
The new money will go towards math, reading, and culturally relevant programming for Indigenous students.
The province is also using the money to create an initiative for students to take university and college courses in high school.
Total education investments now sit at just over $1.2 billion.
