A man has been arrested following a road rage incident in the North End.

Winnipeg police say on the morning of January 19, a mobile photo enforcement operator was working in the area of McGregor Street and Anderson Avenue.

Police report that a man driving a pick-up truck hit the radar equipment, and then got out and started yelling.  Police say the man then drove off, only to come back and stop at the photo radar unit’s side door preventing anyone from getting out. The suspect then began yelling and threatening the photo radar operator.

On Thursday Jan. 31, a 49-year-old man was arrested following an investigation.  The accused is facing a number of charges including uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, and has been released on a promise to appear in court.
