Not all 911 calls in Winnipeg are being picked up by city police.
Protection Committee Chair Coun. Jeff Browaty says some 911 calls made on cellphones from the fringes of the city have been directed to Brandon.
That's the provincial 911.
The problem could be related to the location of cell towers.
The committee voted to send a motion to the police board to study the issue.
Coun. Matt Allard says this is a Canada-wide problem.
