RCMP say the suspect in the death of a man in Duck Bay was arrested Monday afternoon.
Police issued a second-degree murder warrant for 38-year-old Marvin Chartrand, from The Pas earlier in the day.
They said he was considered armed and dangerous, and asked people to call 911 if he was seen.
In a tweet sent out just before 6:00 p.m. police announced they had arrested Chartrand in Duck Bay without incident.
Winnipegosis RCMP announced they had opened an investigation into a death of a man in Duck Bay on Sunday.
His identity has not yet been released.
On Monday, police said the 45-year-old man was a victim of a homicide.
