Police are searching for a man after a financial institution in southern Manitoba was robbed.

Officials said it happened Monday at around 10:45 a.m. in Starbuck, about 50 kilometres southwest of Winnipeg.

Police said a suspect approached a teller with a note demanding large bills. He took off on foot with the note and an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect was wearing a green, camouflaged jacket on top of a black hoodie with brown or beige pants and gloves.

Police said no weapons were used and no one was hurt.
