Around 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, police said a light standard was down near River Avenue and Osborne Street.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision that caused the traffic light to be knocked down.
As a result of the collision, northbound Osborne Street was closed. Police said traffic is being rerouted eastbound on Stradbrook Avenue.
Winnipeg police tweeted to alert the public of traffic delays.
TRAFFIC: Due to a collision near River & Osborne, a light standard is down. N/B Osborne closed, traffic being diverted E/B Stradbrook.
